Advertisements - (sidebar) - A variety of different websites are showcased here. You can have your site advertised here by winning one of our competitions. Affiliation - A link exchange. You display IC’s link on your website, and we do the same. There are a few requirements you should fill before applying. To see all the current affiliates, go here. Alerts - (sidebar) - This section of the sidebar will appear whenever you get a PM, receive Icepoints, or a graphic you submitted was accepted, etc. Articles - Look through and read all the articles which belong to IceCaves. Awards - All the awards which IC has received are displayed here, and free for you to browse. BBCode - When commenting or posting on the forums, using the chatbox, sending PM's, or adding a profile description, you can use BBCode. BBCode allows you to further customize your text. Chat Rules - Each member is responsible for knowing and following these rules. They apply to anywhere you post publicly on IC. Community Shop - This is where you can spend any points you have (see 'Icepoints') on various items. Community Sidebar - This is an extension for Firefox that keeps you updated with IC while you browse the web. You can see the latest forum topics, post on the chatbox, and see any unread PM’s you have. Community Stats - This page shows the Top 10 Richest members, Top 10 Most Online members, as well as other stats relevant to IC. Contact Us - If you need to get into contact with the administrator, fill out the simple form on this page. Design Comp - Often, design competitions are held on IC. There will be a post dedicated to that competition, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for it! Trophies, and sometimes free advertisement, is given to the top three participants. Email Updates Subscription - (homepage) - If you subscribe, you will receive an email whenever a news update is posted onto IC. Featured Recent Site Update - This is located at the very top of the website, above the IC banner. It shows a small image preview of a fairly recent news update. A good way to catch up on what's new. Forums - Where the majority of the conversations happen - there are many different categories, so be sure to look through them all! IceCaves Team - View all the members who are part of the IC staff, or anyone who has submitted content! Icepoints - Whenever you submit a post on the forum, or chat in the chat box (See 'Member Chat Box'), you will receive Icepoints. These can be used to purchase items in the shop (See 'Community Shop'), and if you make enough, you may even be featured on the Top 10 Richest page! Karma - A rating system for all the posts on the forum. If you feel someones post is helpful and deserves a + karma, click the green arrow at the top of their post. Each time one of your posts is either karma'd up or down, your total on your profile changes. You can also see a users karma below their icon on each post. You can not karma rate posts older than 10 days, however you can still delete a rating after those 10 days. Last Spotted - (profile) - Located at the top of your profile (see 'User Profile'), it shows everyone when you were last active on your account. Link Back - A page filled with different sizes of buttons and banners you can use to link back to IceCaves. Member Chat Box - (sidebar) - This is where all the members of IC can feel free to chat amongst each other. It can be seen by anyone who views the website, regardless if they have joined or not. If you click 'Expand Chat Box', you will be transported to a larger version on a separate page. Member Globe - See where the other IC members come from with this nifty tool! Members Online - Top right-hand corner, below the featured content banner. See all the members who are currently online! (Note: Users can select to appear ‘Invisible’ when logging in - they won’t show up on the list!) Newest Graphics & Design Resources - (homepage) - This showcases four of the newest graphics which have been added to IceCaves. Newest Stock Photos - (homepage) - Displays the four latest stock photos which were added onto IC. Newest Scripts - (homepage) - The four newest html, CSS, javascript, and PHP scripts added to IC. PM's - PM stands for Private Message. This is how you can communicate privately with another member of IC. To send someone a PM, either click the quick link on their profile, or go to your inbox and create a new message. Photography Comp - There are numerous photography competitions held on IceCaves. Show off your skills here! Photoshop Tutorials - New to photoshop? We have plenty of tutorials to help you achieve the affect you’re looking for. Rating Content - When you view any kind of submitted content on IC, you can choose to rate it using the drop down menu when posting a comment. Recent Forum Topics - (sidebar) - This is a great way to keep up with the conversation. You can see which topics have been recently posted on (with the red squares). If they have a blue square beside them, it means you've already read that topic, and there have been no new posts since then. Site History - Read all about IceCaves history, and how it came to be. Smiley Codes - This page contains all the shortcut codes to place a small emoticon in any of your posts, articles, or your profile! Stay Connected - (homepage) - Each image is a link to a different website which IC is a part of, or some way connected to. There is a full list which can be located here. Submissions - Are you interested in submitting something to IC? Here are the different kinds of content that we’re looking for! To-Do List - See what the staff is up to, what we’re working on, and what we hope to add in the future! Top 10 Richest Award - The ten people with the most Icepoints will be listed on this page. Better start posting! Top 10 Most Online Award - Every second you spend online on IceCaves is added up. If you make it onto the list, a trophy will be displayed on your profile. Top Commenter - Whenever you post a message on either the forums or chat box, it is added to your monthly total. Whoever has the highest total at the end gets a trophy displayed on their profile! Topsites - Browse through websites based on their ranking. If you have a website, feel free to join. Translate - (sidebar) - Using Google Translate, you can view IceCaves in a number of different languages. Updates Archive - See older updates which had been moved off the home page, in full view! User Profile - To see your profile, click your username (which is a link) underneath your icon on the sidebar. If you want to view someone else’s profile, you can use this page. Visitor Statistics - (sidebar) - This is where the button to IceCaves topsites is located. You can see how many visitors we receive daily! Webdesign - Contains many free graphics and resources for you to use.
Website Contributor Award - Once you contribute to IC in some way (be it submitting graphics, articles, finding typos etc.), you have access to certain account benefits such as a custom title attached to each of your posts. Webmasters - Contains articles as well as free scripts for you to use. Your Account - (sidebar) - A quick portal for members. It displays your icon, and gives you links to several member-only pages (such as account settings, your inbox etc.)
